Campsites each has wind walls with a bench and a self for a little gas grill top. The individual sites each had a picnic table too. There is a laundry site with the bathrooms and shower on the backside. There's even a small library building next to the communal fire pit. No pits at individual or group sides. Check in only available until 9pm. There is an outdoor hotspring pool just a short walk from the campground. Perfect location to explore the Shoshone area. We did the whole birding loop behind the museum down the street. $35 for a campsite is on the higher end but beats the hotel prices in the area

Great little hidden oasis gem in Death Valley! Clean & quiet within the campground. There is some truck noise from the highway, but not bad. Nice hiking trails close by. Does have free WiFi to boot. Mike is a hoot! Definitely will stay here again.

The camping is a little gem. Extraordinary swimming pool with natural warm water spring, we spent an amazing evening in it. Clean facilities, the owner is super kind and welcoming. Great soft grass (if you are travelling with a tent). Highly recommended!

Meant to make a review eons ago. Planning to revisit so I’ll now make my recommendation. Stayed here December 2022. Beautiful stay for our first family rv rental vacation. Loved the pool in the middle of “winter” …close to hiking/exploring Death Valley without feeling like we’re in a dusty desert. Planning to come back next winter with our Tesla and tent for a grassy area. Can’t wait.
