Just over the state line with Texas, this is a little nicer than the other 2 KOA Journey-level campgrounds we stayed at in Texas. Some concrete pads with tables, but other spots are nice as well. Nestled in amongst beautiful trees, not far from 20 East but no highway noises at all. Only a local road with easy access. Full hookups, at least 30Amp. They have some cabins being updated, and a new kids playground. Also a pool to cool off on those warm Southern days. Nice fols working in the office with some convenience items.

Our site was passable. The grass needed mowing. They allow long-term stays, and as often happens, the campground ends up looking trashy. This campground looks like it's seen better days. I'm surprised KOA allows them the designation as a KOA campground.

We had a campsite here. They haven’t mowed the grass for a while. The pool and the area around it was really dirty. The campsites are really close together and have to avoid trees. The campsites are gravel and concrete. It’s really not a very nice KOA. The laundry was cheap and the machines were fine but the floor was filthy.

Never been to Louisiana before and decided to stay at a KOA back in Summer 2023. Boy, is it HOT. The KOA was quaint and the owners were very nice. They accommodated me coming later in the day, and I especially enjoyed seeing the cat enjoying itself on the porch, far away from the life-sized alligator figures :-)

We had a great stay, nice pool and awesome playground, which was important as we were traveling with a 4 year old. Showers were clean. Thank you, would recommend and visit again.
