Customer Reviews
The water is awful, smells and looks like blood. All of my clothes are ruined. My sink and bathroom are so stained from the water I have to replace both sinks and the shower lining. There is an infestation of mice in the pavilion and BLACK MOLD. They refuse to fix it because they refuse to pay for it and they are still renting it out and having parties and weddings in it! My husband and I were supposed to be this year’s camping hosts but we weren’t getting along with the Don and Sharron because their rv park is trashed and they do not communicate at all whatsoever. They expected they us to fix all their problems and clean everything for free because we were staying there. We feel like we were taken advantage of and when we were told to leave we did hesitate to take up other, better offers. This place hasn’t been touched in years from the looks of it and it’s falling apart. They are big time hoarders and do not know when to throw things away or clean. Bring lots and lots of filters if you plan on staying here. We had 4 filters on our camper and it still wasn’t enough. Buy fresh water before coming in. Don’t drink the water at all. Don’t brush your teeth with it either. Don’t cook with it. We tried our very hardest to turn the camp around but we can not and will not be treated in such ways that we’re displayed by don and Sharron. Good luck with your business running it that way.
The cabins are rustic but have everything you need for an enjoyable stay and are clean. Dog friendly which was a plus and it's nestled in a beautifully scenic spot. We'll definitely be back!
We love camping here! I almost don’t want to write this review because I don’t want other people to find out about this hidden gem. However, Don and his team are too kind and competent to not want to bring them more business! These campsites are small, but clean, level, include fire pit and picnic table, and nestled in mountains next to a fishing creek. Close to angel fire for shopping, restaurants, and things to do, plus just a short drive to coyote creek state park.
Service is Great and the Rooms are old and Rustic. Bunks and Queen beds Little kitchen and bathroom. It's a Good place for rest and meals while out at Coyote Creek. No TV No Radio so The entertainment is outdoors. Hear the Wild Turkeys from The few ponds across the street. It is awesome in the evening for fishing for trout. The Creek is just as good. Sit out on the Deck and enjoy the Fresh Air and a smoke. Don in the office is such a Great and friendly Guy. And Rex is happy to make sure your stay here is Comfortable and safe. If you're thinking about going up there to get away and fish or hunt give em try. Duke
We rented an RV that we were told was a bunkhouse with a separate room. Since there were no pictures on the website I had to take their word for it. It was a small RV with an open bed and open bunks in the rear. There was no slide and there was hardly any room to move around. We also rented another trailer for more room but weren't able to use it since it had no ac and the windows wouldn't open enough to get air flow so it would not cool down. It was in really bad shape and we ended up not using it. We weren't able to get a refund for the unused nights. The place is very run down and I wouldn't recommend staying here.
