Beautiful and Peaceful Place! Sierra National Forest is an amazing place to visit! The views are beautiful, with tall trees, winding roads, and fresh air. It is a great spot to relax and enjoy nature. I saw an incredible view where the clouds were below me, making it feel like I was on top of the world. The big trees and green forests make driving and walking here very special. If you love hiking, camping, or just enjoying nature, this is the perfect place. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants a peaceful and beautiful trip!
Everyone goes to Yosemite to escape the crowds ..... only to find a million tourists visit Yosemite. So some folks started going to Sequoia National Park ..... then that got crowded too. So then solitude was sought in Kings Canyon .... same story. Nowadays I like to hangout in the Sierra National Forest. I'm truly alone most of the time. The higher elevations are magical.
Love it ! You need to explore the trails ! Would def go here again!
What a beautiful place! It was at some places kind of devastating seeing the damage from the Big Creek fire of 2020. I have a lot of memories in this forest growing up in the area. So many beautiful lakes and hikes. As rough as it was seeing so many burnt tree stumps, it was nice to see the new growth and amazing wildflowers showing up!
The most beautiful place to go too if you just want to get away from the city noise and smog it's just beautiful. Take a look at this and tell me if you don't think these pictures are worth the trip just for one day to drive up here.
