Great location. It has access to river (short hike) where there is great swimming hole. Very clean. Bathrooms are old but very well maintained and cleaned daily. Managers are very friendly and helpful. The only reason I would not return is that there is absolutely no privacy. Sites are extremely small, everyone packed in like sardines. If you like communal living, then this might be ok for you.
We spent 3 nights there n one of our first adventures with our new trailer. On the way there, the hook up to our trailer lights pulled out and was dragged for about 70 miles. As you can guess, it was destroyed. The managers, Linda and Mike told us to go to a hardware store in n Graeagle for a part. The next day Mike spent at least 4 hours helping my husband fix our 7pin connector. We were able to make it home safely and get it repaired!! It was so kind of him to spend all that time. The park was also nice and the bathrooms were clean and tidy. Swimming hole was great too. Thank you Mike and Linda for helping us have a great time camping.
Horrible experience here, had a couple friends join us down by the water for a picnic. We left for a bit and the owner came down with her friend who is “ex law enforcement” started throwing the N word around at our friend who they thought were trespassing. They called the sherif who declared they were in fact NOT trespassing as they were in the water. Very scummy people and we do not recommend this place. There are plenty of nice places to stay in the area. The degradation and racism was just absolutely disgusting. It’s sad because the previous owners were so great and my family has known them for 30+ years. Not to mention, when we returned they called us white trash assuming because we had an African American in our group? I don’t know however this was an awful display of humanity. They should be ashamed.
This camp spot has truly become our home away from home! We find ourselves returning one to two times a year, and it never disappoints. The Jordan’s who run the place are simply amazing—so helpful and a joy to be around. The swimming hole is a highlight, providing endless fun for the whole family. Plus, the grounds and bathrooms are impeccably clean, which makes our stay even more enjoyable. We can't wait to come back again soon!
Our first time here and it was fantastic. Linda and Mike were incredibly kind and great ground managers. They were awesome with the kids, letting them play with their dog and took them around in the golf cart. Awesome hosts! The grounds were nice and quiet, but we ended up in a spot next to another family with children, so our kids were able to make friends and have fun all day. The swimming hole was great, and there were plenty of little spots around the campground to explore. We absolutely will be back!
