When the dispersed camping is full on a busy Friday night, this place is worth checking out! It's not on the water and borders cattle guards, so there were quite a few cow patties to dodge. The road isn't well-maintained but vehicles in our party didn't have issues accessing it.
Camped here August 2019, and the campground appears to be not maintained any longer. There was no pricing listed, the vault toilet didn't have any toilet paper and was questionably maintained, it was generally overgrown and we didn't find the potable water. Someone driving by said it was decommissioned. No FS employee or host ever came by to check on us. With that expectation, as a free campsite it was pretty solid. Still had a useable toilet, available sites with picnic tables and fire grates, and nice creek water access.
Across from the Sig Creek Campground sign is an amazing waterfall site
