Great KOA to tent camp at. The staff there were incredibly friendly and welcoming. Clean facilities as well. It is just a short drive to town which makes it very convenient to see all that Silver City has to offer. The only downside was the occasional noise from dogs in the area, easier to hear tent camping, if you are in an RV I’m sure you wouldn’t hear it at all. Affordable place to stay close to town! Will be back.

We stayed at the KOA on a recent visit to Silver City, and were pleasantly surprised by how nice it is. The hosts here are friendly and welcoming. The owners offer complimentary get-togethers. While we were there, we attended a complimentary ice cream social and a pancake breakfast. The park itself is very well maintained and attractive. Our standard site, # 58, was great with decent room between sites. The park is quiet with decent shade, and a nice swimming pool. I'd definitely stay here again, and recommend it.

Tent sites were small and there were no fire pits. RV sites all had fire pits. Our tent was 10x16 and we had just enough room to park our truck there. Somewhere close by the campground someone had several dogs that barked all night, to the point where it was hard to sleep. This is a good place if you need a place to stay and you own an RV. But if you have a tent, go someplace else. We ended up leaving a day early.

We were camping in our RV, but a friend joined us and stayed in a cabin. Beautiful, comfortable. Bathroom and shower. Our favorite KOA so far. Staff isnfriendly and helpful; bathrooms & showers are modern and immaculate; dog runs need work but there are 2. Close to so many things- City of Rocks is a must see, as is the Catwalk and Gila Wilderness and ruins. Great music, arts, a few restaurants, but all good, especially Whiskey Creek Zocalo; friendly people. We can't wait to go back.

I really love the place ❤️ cabin was truly nice. Very clean and had everything right on hand that you should need. Clean bathrooms, things in the office to help kids stay busy, games .... truly enjoyed my stay, thanks for everything
