Spent 4 nights here and will definitely be back! The vault toilets were the least buggies I've ever seen and the water pumps work! Great spot in mid-western Michigan.
Great rustic horse camp. Well spaced room between sites. 7 miles horse trails in county park, many more in the attached state park.
Camp was amazing...but the trees are hard to maneuver!
Seven of us just camped there and had a great time! Beautiful well maintained trails to ride on. We will be back!!
Great place to camp and get away for the weekend. It's mainly for equestrian use so the sites are bigger than usual, and they do charge $17.00 a night, but I've been out with just a tent or my teardrop camper and had a great time. I've not been there during peak season so I cannot comment on how busy it is during that time, but mid-to-late fall there's always quite a few sites open. And with over 70 to choose from, you are sure to find a spot that's nice and secluded, with plenty of "buffer" between you and the closest occupied site.
