The place is great with a small but pleasing hike. There's a season where the mosquitoes are insane, but for the most part it's pleasant. The hike is a circuit that has a few views of the waterfalls.

I hiked this many times as a kid. I forgot how beautiful the views are along the journey. My 70 year old mom was able to hike with us but she needed to take some breaks to recover from the climb. My 5 year old also enjoyed the hike. Excellent family hike option with many camping options nearby, though the campgrounds don’t cater to super long trailers. I would say ideal trailer size probably 20’ or less. All dry camping with no hookups.

Great place to camp! It's 30 miles up the Entiat River road. We camped in site #26 and we think by far it's the best site. It's private and had plenty of space for kids to run up and down the road behind where we parked our 27ft trailer. The campground itself is pretty spread out. There's a visitor area when you first get there. People will use that to park their cars and hike up to silver falls. The first road after that takes you to the first set of camp spots. Plenty of area for tents and trailers. There's also an interpretive trail that's about 1.5 miles round trip which was fun to go on. The second road takes you to the group camping area and many other camping spot. This is where we stayed site #26. Silver falls is definitely something to go see while camping there. I did a trail running session on the 1.7 mile loop 3x which was awesome and a great way to get some elevation! Right when I got done with that the family and I hiked up to silver falls so we all could enjoy it. Take the kids and check it out.

Silver Falls is a great area to explore. The hike up the falls is full of hidden treasures. The area was burned out a few years ago, but it is no less beautiful.

Big campsites, privacy & nice forest setting. Close to Silver Falls Trail (1.9 miles and 600ft elevation gain-highly recommended!). Water (pump) on lacation. Clean facilities.
