We had site 46. Was able to get 40 mbps on Verizon at the picnic table but most of the area you only get 1-2 bars. The site has pine trees providing shade, great for an RV site during the summer. The water spigots are treaded for 3/4" standard garden hoses, so you can easily fill your water tanks. No dump station here but plenty of easy to access restrooms and showers that offer six minutes of hot water for 4 quarters. Generators allowed from 8am to 8pm. The campground itself is absolutely beautiful. Great hiking nearby, lakes with boat ramps within 10 miles.. Bears in the area but really nice bear boxes for every campsite. Great local shops, restaurants, local brewery, even a post office! Campground closes by November. Best time for yellow trees is last two weeks of October.
Great Campground host, Campground is very nice and close to the lake, some sites are hard to back in with trailer but I would recommend clearing a lot of the bushes so you can see the beautiful lake. Our camp sites was surrounded by bushes and you couldn't see anything else, just bushes on all three sides.. It would also be nice if they had a dump station..
No shade. Overpriced. More like fishing some inner city urban lake than one in the great outdoors. People, houses, and businesses everywhere ! I'm never going back to that ugly crud hole!
2 stars only for the views. Lake and creek were beautiful. Other than that, people ran their loud generators most the day, people parked and walked through campsites, camp host not helpful and disrespectful, loud music played throughout the campground. If you are looking for a quiet peaceful place, this is not the place. People are disrespectful and don't care about how their actions ruin other people's trips.
The campground is packed close together for RVs. The little cabins are fabulous and rustic. We will come back again.
