Another guest appreciated the helpful staff and the convenient location. A word of caution from previous visitors: When driving to the park, avoid using the Red Bridge if you're pulling a large rig – it's narrow! Instead, come in off the Yellowhead Highway to the north of the park for easier access.

Customer Reviews
The campground was very nice, luckily there was one spot available for us because we arrived spontaneously. Everything was great.
Lovely RV park with good size sites. We had a spot that backed on to the river which made it extra nice. The river was lovely to swim in on a warm afternoon. The bathrooms were some of the cleanest we have seen. The staff were all very friendly. A word of warning though when driving there - don't attempt to cross the Red Bridge in a large rig from the town centre as directed by Google Maps- it is too narrow! You need to come in off the Yellowhead Highway to the north of the park.
Nice lots, we are tenting and the tenting grounds are clean and large. The place is easy to find and the staff is very helpful and considerate. Great place to tent or park your camper. Full electricity sites as well as large bathrooms with showers. Right in Kamloops, you are minutes away from city centre. It is relatively quiet and right beside the river. Sandy beach at the campground head; everything is within walking distance. There is complimentary wifi all over the campgrounds too so you can stay connected while you camp!
We stayed one night here and we liked it. It was quiet and by the river. The big trees were nice to have for shade. The campground was well maintained. There were a couple of full time campers who had a fair amount of items all over and their trailers were in really bad shape.
Good basic campground with clean washroom facilities and good WiFi included. This isn't a "worked tight in the trees" or a very private campground but it is right on the river in Kamloops. The way it is set up, you don't have any neighbours behind you. Some train noise but not bad. There is an impromptu beach right next to the campgrounds and it is right across a rather narrow older bridge from a good beach inside the city. Our 30 amp power was good and we didn't trip any breakers running our AC, which in the 38 degree heat was a welcome break. Aside from the beach, the park was a little light on things to entertain young kids but the setting near the river was great. We travel through here from time to time with our 5th wheel and I have and would stay here again.
