Campground host thought it was okay to allow the campers behind us to plus into our electric post. Wouldn’t have been an issue if we had been asked. Came onto our site, plugged in with a very short cord. So at 5:45 am when the camper started up his 25 year old diesel motor, we got the noise and the exhaust. Not just one night but two! The campground was nice, clean and in a good location to explore Cuyahoga Valley National Park. No amenities beyond a port a pot, electric hook up only, dump station on the way out. Would have given 5 stars if not for the audacity of the host!
Stayed here for a weekend while visiting CNP. Our camp attendant was wonderful. Very personable and helpful. Love how quaint the campground is. For a simple place to camp, it has everything you would need. Electric hookup, trash receptacle, grey water dump, water pumps for filling up, and porta potties on both ends of the park. They do have a flush toilet facility just a small walk away at the main park which is open 7am-11pm. If you don't mind being without hook ups, this is a great little place.
This was the perfect spot. There was water, trash and a quiet place to rest. We van camp and most of the places in this area would not allow it. This place does not have showers but there was two clean portopotties close by and real bathrooms just down the hill with running water. Ken checked us in, gave us a map helped us find local groceries and firewood. He came back by to check on us. The campers were quiet and most spaces had electric 30 amp and 20 amp at others. Safe, clean and just what we needed. Dogs are allowed. You have to register online and be checked in by 10pm. It was super easy to set up the reservation and super affordable.
Wonderful campground with huge sites. Plenty of elbowroom. Nice dog park nearby. Only drawback was they only have portapottys. There is a small restroom facility at nearby park just over the hill with running water, sinks and toilets....no showers.
My dog and I stayed in this campground when visiting Cuyahoga Valley National Park. The property, staff, and other campers were very nice. I loved that there was potable water, restrooms, and space for my dog to play fetch nearby. I would definitely stay here again!
