We stayed here to visit Letchworth and Niagara. This is a great place if you are looking for something out of the ordinary. There are numerous choices ranging from basic to comfortable, but all of them have character. The owners respond almost immediately to questions or concerns. Definitely read a bit about the history of the place, and you will be even more impressed. We enjoyed some time on the lake, sitting by the fire at night, and having coffee on the front porch in the morning. Perry, just to the north, is an adorable small town with enough services for groceries and dining out. We had a very enjoyable stay.
I didn't want to write this review because I selfishly didn't want others to know about it, but this place is good to gatekeep. It's the perfect mix of quaint, quirky, and quiet. The weather unfortunately didn't allow us to enjoy a lot of the outdoor amenities, but sitting in a rocking chair on the front porch of a log cabin almost makes up for everything we missed out on. The hosts were very responsive and thought of almost everything. We will absolutely be visiting again!
We stayed in the Lakefront Cottage and loved our stay! Everything was exactly as was described. It was close to everything we needed/wanted and the cottage was perfectly situated to enjoy a peaceful sunrise on the lake and to enjoy the stars at night. They texted to check in on us after we arrived and to make sure we didn't need anything and then to thank us for staying. Highly recommend!
