I moved here to be away from the city and the highway. It's quiet at night. However, the shower gets cold fast and doesn't work well. The internet keeps cutting out and is unstable. The guest in the trailer with the small black dog let's it run free, and it charged me once trying to bite me. It's never on a leash, and fecal matter is everywhere. When I brought the issues up with the owner of the site, they ignored it. Now I'm being evicted because I complained about non working amenities and misconduct with the camp host. The host walks around early in the morning, which is creepy and has a drug problem. He has the police here a lot, claiming people are trying to burglarize his property, but these people don't exist. We've had property stolen from us since we've been here. Now, I'm being threatened with violence because I wrote a negative review. Retaliation eviction for leaving a negative review in Arizona is illegal. I'll be taking this place to court. I wouldn't recommend staying here.
We spent two nights here at the SimpleLife campsites. Location is central to both the Grand Canyon and Zion National Park. Online booking is very simple and check-in is possible even when the host is not present (after hours). We enjoyed our stay very much, there are hot showers and restrooms available both very clean and even heated. Internet works. Simple and solid. Thanks alot.
The campsite itself is beautiful and quiet. It is a simple campsite so keep that in mind. If you are not an avid camper I would say this site might not be for you. The only thing I would recommend toward the camps team is to work on the shower/bathroom setup, the faucet was leaking and it was a tad smelly. Otherwise, our experience was perfectly fine. Thank you to the host who was super friendly & helpful.
I had to cancel my reservation for 3/15 and 3/16. SimpleLife has a contact number for texts, a telephone number, and an email address, but no one wants to take responsibility and reply to any message. I simply wanted to find out if I could get a refund or a credit for a later date. Businesses sure take a customer's money with no problem, but they can never reciprocate by being available to help once that money is in their pockets. Update: It's now 3/17, past the date of our reservation and I still have yet to hear about any refund or credit. Be careful when booking; their website has no mention of having to cancel and no policy pertaining to that possibility. 7/09/24: Thanks for making contact. I sent an email via your website. Standing by for a response. Jon 7/31/24: I tried making contact through your website and I've still not gotten a response. What in the world is wrong with your communication as a business? Be available!
We stayed a few days in the tent area and the most enjoyable beside the sunset view and the pet friendly place was the nice clean bathroom and the warm shower. Nothing special about the place but it just feels good and it’s well maintained, we even had a picnic table in the shade and drinkable tap water a few feet away, the host is available for anything you need, the wifi works perfectly and it’s close to all those great locations and parks to visit and hike in the area. Kanab also had good restaurants and then we got to finish our evenings by their fireplace area grilling marshmallows with the kids.. The owner gave us good advice over the phone too. I recomend to people who look for the best in the essentials with a few perks and will come back next time.
