Went today with the family for a picnic everybody wanted to be barefooted but for some reason there were stickers all in the grass there's no way you can have a good day with all these stickers to where it's going it hurts your feet kids are screaming
Had a good time visiting my Dad with my wife, two of our daughters, son-in-laws and four of our grandchildren. Swimming, bike riding, lunch, and watching the youngest grandson feed the geese water mellon rine, and catch them.
Nice beach and picnic tables. It's quiet and great for relaxation.
Parked there for 4 days while camping across the lake close to there. Vehicle wasn't messed with, that's the one thing I worry about at boat ramps and I was relieved to see everything was safe.
Thank you, Army Corps, for keeping Hartwell as beautiful as the day it was made. For all those that visit the parks have some decent and respect for our hard workers and our beautiful beaches in South Carolina and Georgia! Jesus Blessings
My favorite place since I was a kid.
