I felt like a great sense of being as one with the earth and mother nature . The air and the sky was clear and you can slightly smell the ocean and can feel the vibration of the earth her self , truly you can see a happier cleaner earth there and the people are very nice that you run into here and there . If u want a little bit of wild and the sense of community and desire peace and quiet and this is the place to go it has a little bit of everything Forest with beautiful trees mountains with beautiful snow on them and a neighbor called the ocean not far away within an hour's reach it truly is a little hidden pocket and this wonderful place Earth to go and visit I recommend it five stars

I will start off with the views, they are amazing! It’s a bit of a drive and some of the roads are dangerous, do not drive at night, and always have a spare tire and snow chains for season. But yes it’s a beautiful jewel to be in. Bring the family!

Early morning or dusk are the best. Beautiful beyond the normal definition. Use the turnouts to your advantage. Everyone drives too fast through this beautiful place. Slow down and look around. It is so worth it.

Want to give 4.5 stars!! Patrick Creek Campground on July 27 & 28, '24 Nice campground. Really missed having any water available. I understand about damage & such to plumbing, but it took away from experience. But not even having water available for small sponge bath was disappointing. Beautiful area. River was gorgeous. A tad noisy due to hwy 199, but could hear breeze in the trees most the time.
