We pulled into Skagit River RV and Camping in the late afternoon. We were greeted by Carl, the host, and we got settled in a camping spot. The trees gave lots of nice shade and the other campers were respectful and quiet. The shower was hot and the bathrooms clean. Appreciated the respite and the tips on the area. Beautiful valley and views. We would stay here again!
Our stay at Skagit turned out to be fine. We called prior to booking to understand if there was a site preference but didn't hear back. We had questions leading up to arriving because we would be checking in late. We called and didn't hear back. We also tried calling the host number when we arrived at ~ 9 pm but no answer. Ultimately it worked out but communications with tenants could be improved. Location is great for time in the Cascades.
Great location with free wifi and free hot showers! Friendly camp hosts (including a special shout out to Dimitri the cat). A wonderful spot after a day of hiking. The tent sites were full but we were able to pull into a RV site for the same price as the park wasn’t as busy in the off season.
Great campsite with hot showers and heated bathrooms. Manager was nice enough to let me use his tube pump for my tent air bed, hugely helpful. Road is nearby but very little traffic noise late at night. Price is fair, not rock bottom but the amenities and availability (compared to the always booked national park CGs) make it a great deal.
The campground was fantastic! The hosts were great bathrooms were top notch, and you can hang out with a spike we named Roger, he's fond of the apple tree. This is my new campground when I'm in Skagit County.
