I stayed at this campground a couple of times while attending a women's climbing event. Skillet Creek is a wonderful campground, and it would be my go-to if I lived in the state. The bathrooms are extremely clean, the sites spacious, and staff kind, and so much more. I cannot recommend it highly enough!

We had a great stay at this campground. The site was wooded and large and felt secluded and the amenities (pond, playground, jumping pad etc.) were awesome for the kids. The bathrooms were clean and well-maintained. In fact, the entire place was beautifully-kept. The location is perfect for heading to Devil's Lake. My only word of warning is that the campground-led activities are boisterous and loud and (in our case) late at night. But they did advertise "prom weekend" and the "glow parade" so I can't say I didn't have a warning about it, and the other campers loved it. I will be staying here again!

We stayed here for two nights at site# 112. The campground was quiet and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The sites are well spaced and grassy. The trees were well trimmed so no issues with our 11ft tall TT. There was a lot of rain yesterday and last night but I didn’t see any sites with standing water. The camp store was small but well stocked and the ice cream was delicious! The campground is very close to Devil’s Lake SP as well as several Wineries, a brewery and a distillery plus all the cute stores in Baraboo. This was our first trip with our new TT and our first time here. We would definitely come back.

Did not stay here yet, drove through to check it out. Cabins are beautiful! Some of them right on the beach. Swimming pond is wonderful. Campsites very grassy and spacious. I will definitely be booking there next year.

Skillet Creek Campground is a peaceful, cozy little space just outside of Baraboo and within a mile or so of Devil's Creek lake. The grounds are spacious, filled with plenty of trees for shade, a fish pond, a hiking trail, and various modern amenities like a swimming hole, WiFi, a game room, events, a canteen, and more. The staff are great, very kind and polite. We loved our stay, finding it restful and relaxing. I would highly recommend a visit!
