Nice campground along the Green River. Access for swimming and a boat launch. Some spots are well shaded by cottonwood trees. Nice separation between most of the camping spots. The sites have picnic tables and fire pits with grills. Garbage dumpster available. No water and no electricity. It was very windy most days when we were there in mid-May. Lots of birds including a Western Screech Owl and a couple of Great Horned Owls. Super cool to see!
Had a great time at slate creek. We camped on the southern side of the bridge at a primitive camping spot. River was beautiful, clear, and cold. Will definitely go back. One item to note is there are very few trees at some of the sites so if the wind blows hard, there is little protection.
Very nice space. Lots of bugs, mainly flies & moths m on m. The river is lovely & clean. The only thing I’ve seen is a bit of oil from the fishing boats. My dogs loved it, especially my Border Collie who’s a ball dog. Ball into the river, very cool & fun. I’ll be back when I’m in Wyoming
We've been here a couple times and it's been great both times. More dry this year but still green. The fishing wasn't as great because there were more bugs but still fun. Lots of trees for shade and many options for RVs and tent spaces. Hottest time of year and it was pretty busy and full. Clean restrooms.
Nice campsite along the river. River access. Beautiful views. Quiet. Free.
