Awesome hosts! Very friendly and accommodating. They had some tent 🏕️ sites open on the water. Only thing we didn’t like was that there was a golf cart racetrack right off our site. The gulf carts loaded up with 6-9 kids per gulf cart going well over the speed limit of 5 miles per hour and cursing like sailors. They had a fun band that played till 11:30.
We LOVE Sleepy Creek! We came to the Brokedown Float Down in '17 and had an amazing time listening to music and the hosts were just incredible! This year we came for the' 18 Spring Dig and it's even better! Tons of cool people and lots of great music. Thanks, Sleepy Creek!
The sign says "Welcome... Peace Love Happiness This Way"... The day I stopped by to check it out... the police and ambulance were arriving on scene for some type of altercation. Seems pretty shady and trashy to me. I would not recommend visiting this place.
Lovely community of people. Grounds are modest and well kept. Gorgeous scenery.
Staff are friendly. All the sites along the Potomac are taken by the full-time residents. We were in a level field with a 50 amp plug. No water or sewer. The wife did not like the train being so close and having to blow its horn for the entrance to the park.
This family campground is located adjacent to the Potomac river in Berkeley Springs WV. It is 15 minutes south of Hancock MD. The amenities include beaches, a children’s playground, public toilet facilities throughout, bingo nightly on weekends, large family celebrations for holidays, and frequent bands on weekends. The owners are responsive to communication in timely manner. The campground is absolutely beautiful!
Wonderful place, a quaint mix between the middle of nowhere with the heartwarming sounds of trains. River access and a fully functional stage. The campers are very friendly and welcoming. I can’t wait to go back !!!!
