Not a bad little spot -- site managers are very "lax"...which has its benefits and drawbacks. Potable water at the tent sites and individual fire pits are good. Access to the creek with a few children's swimming holes. Kids playground area is 100% garbage tho...
Sleepy hollow is the place to be if you have pets or just like to see pets around. This place is different, it is like a magical place for the little things it has to offer. I came just to stay a month and find my self every morning waking up and enjoying the day. It has been a wonderful experience. The owner Dale is very accommodating and helps out with what you need if he can. The bathrooms maybe a bit buggy...but they are clean.if not into bugs then get your own trailer and then you have your own bathroom. The great thing is this place is meant for all types of scenarios. Weather you need full hooks or power and water or just need a place to rest your head to keep on moving then next day. I'm telling you folks once you come here you will want to come back for years to come. This is the place to stay. The campground is quite and people here are friendly. You get your odd people that drink and talk a bit loud but at quite hrs, it's quite. But that does not mean they aren't people out there they disregard the rules and still do it anyway. I would for sure tell the people that are being loud instead of wait the next day and be upset about it. That's just the wrong way going about it. I haven't complained and it has happen to me. That's why they invented the ear plugs. Gets some before you head out....that way you will still get a full night's sleep. Or don't and deal with it. I have to deal with you complaining! This place is a one in a life time place to camp. Plus they have a playground if you got little ones. Family orientated as well. Take care and can't wait to see you there. 🐈 🐕
Sites are close together and not well kept. Fire pits are old small rims. They are a cash grab. $25 per adult tent kids tents are extra $10. Pets are $50. Sites are also gravel. Playground is a bit scary. Only nice thing it's close to a creek.
Stayed during the summer while working in the vicinity. Gorgeous campground, right on the creek. Located in the middle of town but it doesn't feel like it!
2.5 stars actually. The amenities are not to good. The bathrooms are not well maintained. The sites are small, but lots of mature trees. It's a low cost camping.
