Absolutely beautiful place! Went and walked around. Seen people jumping into the water. Looked very cold!! Very pretty views in every direction and trails are very nice to walk on. Had a great time. Cost $10 to enter the park, which wasn't horrible for a few hours of walking around the park. They also had nice bathrooms, and they were clean.
One word: Incredible. This place is a must-visit if you want to connect with nature. We had so much fun walking the trail and having some good conversation on a chilly afternoon. People were very welcoming, and the nature vibe was relaxing
Incredible park. Amazing views, plenty of parking, nice picnic area, and great walking/accessibility for the average person down to the “waterslide”. The water was too cold to swim when we went, but beautiful views and the park is kept up very well! Bathrooms could be updated and cleaner.
Went off season and it was beautiful! Water was frigid so we definitely did not go in— but that didn’t stop us from exploring both sides of the little river. Neat boulders and trails. Gorgeous landscape! Thoroughly enjoyed! Of note— there is no hot food available. Just a little market which I would equate to a convenience shop- chips, candy, etc.
During our family trip to Arizona, we visited Slide Rock State Park. It's a must-visit destination from Sedona to Flagstaff. The kids loved the natural water slide along Oak Creek, and the beautiful red rock canyon scenery made it a picturesque spot to relax and enjoy nature. Overall, it provided an unforgettable experience for our family. Highly recommended!
