Parking fees at entrance. Beautiful scenery through the road. Great moderate hiking. Not too rocky, just right for the beginner. There’s rental kayaks and cycle boats. Nice campsite with spacing convenience. Not too crowded and it’s perfect for “me time” retreat.
Finished out this camping season with 8 total trips to Sly Park! Beautiful place to relax! Our family has rarely experienced anything bad at any of the sites we've stayed at. Highly recommend!!
Awesome trail around lake (especially the south side) for hiking and mountain biking. Lots of shade so perfect for summer. Plenty of restrooms. At the east end is a beautiful waterfall and some planks with informative displays of the lake (apparently five species of bats here). As of 2024 it is $15 for official lot or $5 to park at various random spots around lake.
I love the waterfall and it's very peaceful the staff are very nice and very informative. The park is very clean and well kept..
The water is usually the perfect temperature during the warm months. Both of the day use areas are nice, and the scenery is beautiful, of course. Great place to go relax, picnic, swim, and more!
