Beautiful campground. It is well maintained and bathhouses are very clean. Nice walking paths. There is a trampoline, playground, pool, and mini golf for the kids. The camp store is lacking in essentials and a deli or small restaurant would be nice. There are no local restaurants.

Spent this past long weekend at Small Country.... Pulled in and found the entrance and check in area well marked and easy to park and access. I was greeted by two very nice ladies who were eager to help and answer questions. As is customary, I was given a map with sharpie markings on where my site was and the best way to get to it. Ladies discussed the bath house location and I was on my way.... I stayed in a pull through in the "orange" section which was very easy to get into and out of. No issues at all with wifi, sewer or 30A power. Every pedestal has 30 and 50A plugs. Our site had cable and I was told that construction is underway to add cable to ALL sites. Weather was a bit chilly in the evenings, so the fire ring on every site was a nice touch. We rolled into Louisa and found several stores, we went to the Tractor Supply and got a few things.... Oh... I forgot to mention that the office has a very well stocked camp store, with some merchandise and food items, as well as some light camping items you may have forgotten.... We'll be back!!!

Fabulous campground and friendly staff! When I first called to make our reservation the staff was friendly and helpful. The cabins were clean and the campground itself was beautiful and quiet. We will definitely be coming back.

Travel nurses welcomed!! There were a few of us here. We stayed for 3 months and any problem we had was quickly addressed by the owner or staff. Everything here was well kept and clean, bathrooms, showers, pool, beaches, open fields all kept nicely. RV park wise is was great. Wi-Fi was hit or miss but for a park that size it’s not too bad. Little pricey for what I look for but worth it if you have kids/family with you.

A review of less than 4 stars would be totally unfair. This is by far one of the best kept , well run and entertaining family campgrounds I have stayed in. The facilities(lake, beach, pool, bounce pad, playground(s), mini golf, basketball & shuffle board) and programs are great and continuous. You can see first hand the updates to sites and facilities. The people are friendly, professional, and helpful. I don't see what else you can ask for.
