It was an awesome and beautiful place! The campground was spotless! The camp hosts, Dell and Deb, are truly wonderful and caring people who go well beyond their regular duties to help everyone there! My grandson, who is 5, caught his first fish, a beautiful rainbow trout. Which we all helped eat at dinner. The reservoir is beautiful, clean, and pristine! Wood is expensive at $9.00 for 6 or seven medium-sized logs; it is best to pay half-price in Oakley or Kamas. Finally, the water was not turned on, which caused some issues, but vault toilets worked and were clean despite the campground being totally packed. Which reminds me, the campers, their kids, and dogs were all friendly and quiet. One group of mostly young guys was pretty loud at times, but not after dark. All in all a great time for all!

My sister and I share a Birthday so we wanted to go to the perfect campground with our whole family. The camp hosts Deb, Dale and Jona were so nice and accommodating. The camp ground was clean, bathrooms were great. Deb and Dale invited our kids to come see the fairy campground and it was magical. If you are looking for a good time and want amazing hosts this is the camp ground for you.

For 25+ plus years we have enjoyed our experiences and Smith & Morehouse in the fall. Deb and Dell are amazing camp host. We wish all campgrounds had host like them. They're kind and helpful.

Wonderful camp ground and plenty of parking and access to the reservoir. Could use a few more spaced out restrooms, but there are several within decent access. The camp hosts ARE ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!!! So friendly, so willing to help. They even try to loan out thing that you might have forgotten. They go around a couple of times a day at least to see if anyone needs anything. Super friendly!!! So much so, that campers were going to the host campsite to share with them portions of their meals. They also have a "Fairy Garden". A rock path with glow in the dark rocks for the kids, and more. It is truly a 'Fairy Garden' and magical for the kids.

Just got back from another amazing weekend at Smith and Morehouse Campground. We stayed in campsite 28, which has perfect trees for hammocks. The kids were excited to ride bikes play at the lake and to walk through Deb and Dell's fairy garden. It was so awesome . These are memories we will cherish forever. Fishing, games, and quiet moments in one of the prettiest places I've ever been. Deb and Dell were so good to us. We met them 4 years ago and look forward to seeing them every year. They have transformed the host campsite. The kis love to walk through their garden and to feed the humming birds. The morning we left, a moose stealthily walked through our camp. We can't wait to go back again. Beautiful as always. The aspens are turning gold. Fishing was great. The lower camp ground is closed for the season. Ledge Fork remains open. There is a clean restroom and fish cleaning station near the boat ramp.
