Smitty's Lodge Motorcycle Campground

Smitty’s Lodge is a great place to stay for motorcyclists! It’s got great little cabins and a nice shower house. Nice lawn for tent camping as well. It’s perfect for motorcycle rallies! Wendell hosted our group of 30 for two nights and it was a blast. And it’s right in the heart of some of the best mc riding in the country!

Have stayed here many times over the years, great place. Always look forward to staying there. Beware of the rude Karen. Lady at checkin with angry rude short comments that let you know you have inconvenience her by being there.

Smitty is a hard working, laid back quiet fellow who is very generous. His lodging is a work of love. Many unexpected extras....fire pit, beer fridge, plenty of chairs conveniently staged. The facilities were clean and convenient. I enjoyed my stay.

Campground that caters to all motorcyclist from all areas. Beautiful campground in a perfect area. Owners were very nice and friendly, coming out and hanging out around the fire at night time with us. Cabins are a great price and allot more roomy then they look on the outside. They feature a nice covered place to park your bike. The bath house had plenty of room for multiple people to use at once, and fantastic water pressure in the roomy showers. Plenty of amenities including grills, firewood, laundry, ice, beer, and snacks with what appears to be allot of ideas for future expansion and upgrades! Very few complaints. Do wish the grills were in better condition to cook on. There is a dusk to dawn light that is on all night and is very bright. Blocks allot of the natural beauty of the mountain at night time (not the owners fault tho.) Our particular cabin didn't have a porch light or a light where you park your bikes like the other cabins did. Overall, a great place to stay while riding the mountains, and I can't wait to come back again and see all the changes they continue to make!

Awesome Place!  These folks have literally thought of EVERYTHING a motorcycle enthusiasts needs.  From the well stocked vending machine,  microwave and coffee / tea  access 24/7 with all the fixings. You will survive, even if they roll the sidewalks up on ya in town. The location is excellent for all the cool loops, the Skyway and the Tail. These folks work hard to provide super clean facilities and the water was ALWAYS HOT!  Don't have soap, not a problem.   It's there 🙂 They also stock hand cleaner, have a motorcycle jack and Vise available. Laundry facilities are clean and modern.  They even have a machine to dry your leather in case Mother Nature is unkind. All the cabins have super cool boot and glove dryers built-in as well.  Beds are super comfy and the towels soft! Gas grill if you don't want to cook over the Awesome fire pits.  Firewood and Ice ~ I mean it!  They got you covered! And don't worry about condiments. They are in the fridge. Don't let the website detour ya over a 2 night minimum, they are VERY accommodating! Do yourself a favor and give them a call and book your adventure 😁

Great place to stay when riding the SEBDR (Southeast Backcountry Discovery Route). Close to gas stations & restaurants. Smitty is very welcoming and has everything you need. Cabins and bathrooms are very clean, boot dryers worked great!

Great place to stay if you’re out motorcycle camping close to all the great roads.

Extremely friendly host. Clean grounds and rooms. Could have some nicer amenities for the nightly rate.
