Customer Reviews
Our family of 4 rolled into Revelatoke rather late yesterday evening and stopped into the Smokey Bear Campground for the night. Owners were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We arrived in the dark and the owner accompanied us to the site ensuring we got backed in and setup to our liking. Since we arrived in the dark it was a welcome surprise to take in such beautiful scenery in the morning. Being surrounded by beautiful mountains trees and wildlife was amazing. Would definitely stay again if we pass back through in the spring. Thanks again for the hospitality!
Owners are fantastic! Price was the best in the area too, we stayed in a cabin and it was extremely clean, quiet, and cute! Every time I pass through I will make a note to stay here again. It was the perfect little stay.
Campsite & Cabin rental: The owners are super friendly and very helpful. Campsite: 3/5 - they do not have fire pits, atleast not in the campsite we had, - Sewer pipe was broken at this time, meaning it's leaking, - the trees could have been trimmed a little bit to have them out of the way from scratching your camper/vehicles and they have sticky things that are EVERYWHERE (we were here at end of April) Cabin: 5/5 We had the Saloon cabin - comes with a BBQ, bring your own propane, - they are super rustic and really cool looking. - had a good size kitchenette, - hot water immediately and a good amount of it, - Bathroom was decently sized. - cabin itself was super clean, - Comfy beds, - nice couch and dinning table set up. I would recommend their cabins!
This is an older campground. It is being upgraded and improved by the owners, of course nothing happens overnight. It is comfortable and moderately priced with friendly operators and long term campers. The only real drawback is that it is right beside the hiway. I got used to the traffic noise very quickly but if that noise will bother you, this may not be the right place for you.
Camped in our tent on our truck at this location. Took a chance coming from Van to Calgary without reservation. We call from Sicamous having dinner at 3 Valley Chateau, the waitress recommended this location we already chose. Clayton is his name and my these people are in the perfect business. There are cabins which are very cute. The entire place is spotless yet has not lost the rustic camping feel. The cats come to greet you, along with squirrels and chipmunks keeping their distance. The little dog Bandit, sweet as pie. Clayton and your wife (sorry on your name) thank you so much for your warm hospitality. We will be coming back! Your grounds have to be the best stop our entire trip! Thank you!
