Smoky Mountain Lakeside Resort and Marina

Repeat visitors..we love Lakeside Resort. We have stayed in the cottage, the cabin , and the villas (specifically Lake Hair Dont Care). We really like all of them for different reasons. This review is specifically for Lake Hair Dont Care. We stayed there first week of March 2025, it was wonderful as usual. Check in process very easy. Alicia is very quick to respond to any needs or questions and always has been with any of our visits here. The room is super clean, in fact all the different places we have stayed here are very clean!! The bedding is so comfy I ordered the same pillows for my bed at home. The best part is there are alot of pillows between the bed and the daybed with the trundle. The electric fireplace is so cozy on the cold winter days. I love they provide extra towels for the hot tub. They have a small fridge, microwave, and keurig comple with coffee pods which is nice as well. The price is great and the views are beautiful. The deck where hot tub is located is not completely private as the privacy walls only extend 3/4 of the way but it is private enough unless you have a really nosey neighbor which we have ever had. Bottom line is we love it here and always enjoy our stays. Can't wait to go back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Alicia was the best. Waking up to beautiful sunrises was just what we needed. The room was very nice and clean. There were a lot of spiderwebs on the deck and the sink seemed a little slow to drain. Minor issues that didn't effect our stay. We would definitely recommend this place and hope to go back.

Incredible Views on the Lake with a personal hot tub for each villa! The rooms are clean with a fun retro 50s vibe and the location is just a short drive from restaurants and activities. It was also reasonably priced and nice escape from the crowds of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The Cowboys bar and grill is an outdoor covered patio on the lake with live music Thu, Fri, Sat all Summer long with good food and drinks. It was fun for the whole family. We had an incredible time and we can't wait to visit again.

I did not stay at the hotel, I was meeting friends for dinner & they managed to get a table, drinks and appetizers before I arrived. Got there at 6:15 the waitress never came over, never came back to check on my friends or refresh their drinks. Neither the waitress assigned to our section or any other wait staff even looked in the direction of our table and we were under the pavilion. It was like we didn't exist. We finally left at 7:00 to go to another restaurant. Our friend had to chase down the waitress to pay for what they did receive and when he did she asked him if his friends decided not to come! I live 5 minutes from this place and I'll never go there again! Just a note- at the beginning of the season the owner posted on Facebook that they were having long wait times. Apparently rather than fix the problem and train staff to be receptive to all tables assigned to them the public is just supposed to adjust.

Formerly known as Cowboys, the new management has created covered seating, three docks for lake/boat access, live bands on the weekend, full bar, and the food truck is good. We are locals so we have not stayed at the inn but the rooms are completely redone in a cute mid-mod Googie style and literally right on the lake!
