We had the most wonderful summer and fall here! The owner is incredibly kind, helpful, attentive, and friendly, and runs the best campground we've ever visited! He has amazing recommendations for things to do in the area and takes great care of the campground and all the guests. We stayed for about 3 months and can't wait to return next season! Great spacious campsites, clean bathrooms, and gorgeous views and surroundings! See photo of the most unbelievable sunset reflection I've ever seen! Also great swimming holes, hikes, and restaurants nearby. Thank you for such a fantastic visit and we're so excited to return next year!

Love this place! Will, his camp hosts and of course, Maple Bear welcomed us like family. It is obvious the love and thoughtfulness that is put into this campground because it is in the atmosphere there. It is clean, well thought out and quiet at night. And there is a lot to do in the area. Bonus. Our only mode of transportation is bicycles so with a list of Will’s suggestions, we pedaled around exploring the area each day enjoying the local offerings. We hiked near the covered bridge, played disc golf at this highly ranked, beautiful wooded course, picked apples at a nearby apple orchard farm, enjoyed a meal at a local restaurant and then relaxed in the evening under the beautiful Vermont sky. We enjoyed it so much we are planning on returning next season for a much longer stay.

This is a new campground so all the amenities and hookups are brand new. Which is nice. The owner Will is super friendly and extremely helpful to all of his guests. He even supplied us with a Google maps link to his personal favorites in the area. His dog is super cute and friendly as well. If you like start watching this, Campground is great because there aren’t really any trees to block your view. Keep in mind if you’re coming here with a trailer longer than 45 feet you have to come in from the north because you won’t fit through the notch.

The perfect campground for leaf peepers during the fall foliage! The campground itself is simple. The sites are grass and have full hook ups. There’s not much amenity wise, there’s restrooms and a large grass field for disc golf. They do not have a dog park but if your dog is well behaved, the owner is fine with them being off leash as long as you can control the pup. There might not be many amenities but the location is awesome!! You are five minutes from Smugglers Notch which is a fall bucket list must and about 20 minutes from Stowe. The campground owner, Will, is one of the best owners we have interacted with. He is so friendly and provides a list of the best places to visit and try while you’re there. He also made a self guided bridge tour so guest can explore without having to research where to go. There is a camp dog, Maple, who is the sweetest and best behaved Golden Retriever! Expect a visit from him at your site with a tennis ball or a stick! If you’re looking for luxury, has every amenity possible, glamping….this campground is not for you. But if you’re looking to have views, prime fall foliage location, an owner and camp hosts who care about their guest….then this is definitely the campground for you!!
