What a beautiful quiet campground. Now this campground is definitely more fun if you're boating or playing in the water. The birthday party campout we had was just about perfect as we rented side by side sites for everyone that showed up. When we weren't just relaxing in camp, coming, eating or sleeping, the beach along there has many minerals, petrified objects and fossil potentials to check out plus there's good bank fishing there also.
It was clean and well kept. Had a restroom and a dumpster for trash. Only bad part is for camping its awfully close to the highway.
Excellent spot on earth
First time camping here and I really enjoyed it. Very clean campground. The only downside is the road is right next to it but still extremely quiet for the road being that close
Always stay here during deer season, usually only one other group there (if that) when we are. Fire circles, picnic tables, restroom, dock, boat launch, and close to town. Well maintained and beautiful!
Absolutely amazing place to camp. If you like fishing and geology this is the spot.
