Very quiet and peaceful. Always something going on at the restaurant. The staff is top notch! We always feel so welcome when w come. We need a few accommodations and they are always ready to help us. The grounds are always clean and the food and drinks are delicious! Highly recommend. Best Friday Fish Fry around!

Nice campsite. The 300’s sites are not ideal. We had a mix up with site location and ended up in one we didn’t book, but the staff was accommodating and made up for it. The lake is really fun to fish, nice beach area to swim. Caught a 22” walleye! Bar on camp is really fun, cheap, and has karaoke some nights! Great fish fry.

Nice chill stay at the snug harbor inn. Our campsite upon arriving was kind of close to other people and the owner was cool about letting us scoot over for more privacy. Overall the private beach was a little smaller than anticipated but we went over to whitewater lake which is free and close by. The campsite was very grassy and bugs were not bad. We had some trouble with the firewood we bought onsite as it would not stay burning but our neighbors helped us out. It’s cool that there is a bar restaurant on site. You can be roughing it out one minute and the next minute singing kareoke in a bar. It can be kind of noisy as people are leaving the bar late night but if you’re like me I am comforted by being around people but if looking for quiet and seclusion just don’t stay in the 400s.. get the tortoise campsite if possible. We were at 404. This is a campsite for people who like being in close proximity with others. Everyone minds their own business and I appreciate having neighbors close by. Bathrooms were clean. Overall a nice stay! Thank you

Love this place. It was a last minute trip and they took us in right away. We camped next to cary who also works at the bar. She is such a sweetheart. If we needed help or anything she was always there for us. Beautiful thoughtful kind women I'll never forget her ❤

I was disappointed in the fish fry tonight . My husband ordered walleye and 2 of the pieces were cod. We have been going to Snug Harbor Friday fish fry for years but under the new management it’s not as good. Hope they step it up.
