Sept 1 Backpacked there. Decent trail, but be ready for downed lumber. We counted 63 trees across the trail. 3 campspots are grown high around and feel a bit "beary"..especially there are 4 🐻 that we saw hang out and frequent here. Good outhouse and place to hang food bags and eat. Keep your head on a swivel. 🐻. If you can scramble..go up the talus to the falls like we did. Super cool!
The lake is not that out standing but the view along the way is fantastic. It does not take that much power to get here from the trail head.
Beautiful secluded get away
Beautiful lake and mountains
Typical campsite... however we were there for the off session and it was very quiet
