I love the location. Easy on and off the interstate. Pull through sites available. Bath houses are always clean and the campground has full hookups. They have propane and a small store that sells almost anything you need. Short drive to Knoxville if you need to go that way. I like the lake lots also.
This is a decent RV Park just off of I-40. We had a level concrete pad both times we stayed. Very friendly office staff. A couple of things to note: most sites seem to be occupied by long term residents and it is very close to I-40, so interstate traffic noise is loud. It is a decent place to stop for an overnight stop.
These are spots for campers, RVs, and tents. The grounds are really nice and well maintained! Each camper site had sewer, water, and electric hookups. We also love the store and laundry room on the premises. Not to mention the fishing dock and pool.
The management is very good. Joyce is extremely good at her job. Very helpful and has an award winning smile. David is extremely helpful and always wears a smile and a wave. Campground is clean and most sites are either cement or flattened gravel. Those who are in the extended stay lots have newer campers and are pleasant folks. The bathrooms are very clean, the laundry facilities is very clean as well. The lake lots are well kept and fishing is good! Right off I-40 close to Oak Ridge, Lenoir City and West Knoxville. My stay here has been wonderful. Very safe campground. The country roads around the campground are enjoyable to explore with streams, ponds, great mountain and pasture views.
We stayed here for a week in July 2024. Overall we enjoyed our stay. The people are very friendly and accommodating. I did get stung by a hornet several times which tend to swarm the trees that have been planted around the RVs. Those are probably not the best trees to have there... The lake is nice and there is a large off-leash dog area, though not fenced for those who might need that. The utilities worked well. The pool was nice, but my son did have some sort of reaction to one of the chemicals in the pool (even though it's a salt water pool), which cleared up after he got out of the water for several minutes. There is road noise, but that's to be expected.
