Beautiful but small primitive Campground. No water, dry toilets only. Easy access to hiking trails by the Soda Creek. Currently closed (9/13/2 2024) for fire activity.
Incredibly beautiful spot for camping with views of South Sister, Broken Top, and of course Soda Creek. There’s a single bathroom and a large waste bin (the size of one that sits behind a grocery store or restaurant).
Lovely little campsite. Quick trip from Bend and beautiful vistas of Broken Top and South Sister. Sweet little creek is across the road from the campsites. Because there are only 6 sites here, it is very quiet. We stayed in site 1, and although it is the closest to the road, there is very little traffic after dark and it's not too noisy. Each site has a picnic table and a fire pit.
Would love to camp here, if I were camping. Great views all around, (three sisters wilderness) there aren’t that many sites. Very private with am absolutely stunning views.
Amazingly scenic campsite. LOTS of mosquitoes early in the summer, and it gets fairly cold. Great access to nearby trails, and a perfect place to camp if you’re hiking south sister. The layouts of each individual campsite are slightly confusing and not great bathrooms are another drawback. Wake up early to see the beautiful alpenglow on south sister and broken top!
