THIS is your place if you are looking for a weekend getaway. It is only open on weekends but we were lucky to get the last tent and picnic table. Our tent was a clean, fresh and comfy. We had a in water picnic table and it didn’t disappoint. The views of the river, trees and nature is amazing. My husband and I had relaxing tube float. Friendly staff were around for any help we needed. Definitely recommending this campground and river.

Nothing about this place is glamping! Dirty tents with rips held up by duct tape leaving holes for critters to get in. My tent had roaches ants spiders when we arrived and throughout the weekend! A/C unit is a joke - hot and humid all night! Porta potty literally next to the tents smelled horrible and was never cleaned! A leaf blower would go a long way at this place to get rid of all the cobwebs on everything including the tents, the cabanas and the restrooms. In their attempt to make the most money they have crowded the tents too close together along with the cabanas. For the price you pay this is totally NOT worth it. There are so many better options along the river - even if it means bringing your own tent!

We spent father's day weekend there a family of 5. The people were really nice and willing to jump and get stuff done. if you're wanting a romantic get away with the spouse this is definitely not the place, the tents and everything are really close to each other. our biggest thing was random people walking through our cabana and the proximity of the parking lot to the tents. It's a really nice place just don't think we'll stay there again unless we have a really big group and rent the majority of the place out

The good. We rented 2 tents a cabana and in water pop up and picnic table. We arrived Friday and the tents and cabana were very nice. The tents are spacious we stayed cool and beds were comfortable. The bad. The river bank and river area are trashed. The pop ups are not maintained there are broken chairs tossed everywhere submerged under water under picnic tables tops of pops off missing or half off. Trash and broken chairs all over the river bank. The shower trailer is a complete nightmare. Dirty, smelly, usually standing in water showers dirty. No paper towels to dry your hands. Poorly maintained. Sunday morning the showers were backed up the girl who is supposed to clean them was standing outside of them on her phone. She was told they were backed up. She looked up from her phone said "ok" and went back to looking at her phone. Also be very careful and check your doors because the locks tend to not catch and it looks like bathrooms are available when they are not. Trash cans were emptied Friday night when barely no one had been there abd never again until sometime after 11 Sunday after we left. Would not recommend. They look great from the road but looks can be deceiving. They could do alot with the area with a little maintenance.

I booked a cabana last minute and it was so easy and quick. When we arrived, the location was so cute and relaxing. The bathrooms/showers were clean and easy to get to. We walked over to Lone Star grill for lunch. The ONLY thing my kids didn't love was how shallow and rocky this part of the river is, but they still had a great time :)

We have come here 3 years in a row and love it every time. It is so relaxing! I always recommend the table and tent in the water. Bring your snack and drinks and just chill. You can even grill out if you want. Have to give a shout out to Tyler. A person in our group daughter was having a baby at anytime and she did not have cell reception on the river so Tyler gave her his number to give to her daughter! Very nice of him to do that! We will be back next year for sure!
