This was one of the most disappointing hotel stays I've ever had. The hotel has a lot of potential, but it seems they are more focused on expanding the "Sonesta" business than putting work into the hotels they already have. At least for this one. We were shown about 10 different rooms, and every single one had an extremely strong & unpleasant mold odor. It smelt like a combination of cat pee and musty towels that were left in a washing machine for a few days. We got there at 6pm to check-in and didn't end up getting a tolerable-smelling room until after 8pm. Although we do appreciate the effort the staff put in to find us a room, it was very frustrating and tiring to wait around for 2 hours for this to happen. The layout of the hotel is really nice, and it would've been so nice to have a room with a patio outdoors, but unfortunately the rooms desperately need to be updated (especially have the carpets removed) to get rid of that musty smell for it to be at all worth the cost. Other than this huge disappointment, the pool & hot tub were clean and enjoyable. The manager was friendly. And the lobby is nice, too. But don't be deceived by the nice lobby! Wait until you get to your room to make a judgement.

Hi. We appreciate the fact there was an option to use the pool although it was cold . Unfortunately, The room wasn't clean especially the bathroom. The breakfast was minimal.

Our room had several spots shaved out of the carpet and the window did not fit in the frame so part of it was open all night. Our bed was caved in towards the middle and worn so our heads were lower than our feet. We had a late checkout, but housekeeping tried coming into our room twice despite having the do not disturb sign on the door. The manager who helped us check out of the hotel was the saving grace of the stay. He took note of all of our concerns and took care of the charge that was placed on our card despite using points to pay for the stay. He is the only reason I'm giving this hotel three stars. If he had not been there my rating would have been a push if I had said two stars.

Family had an unexpected flight delay tried to check in after midnight. They could not find my reservation for my prepaid booking ( I had confirmations) sat in the hotel lobby for almost 2 hours. The guy at the front desk told us he could resolve the issue in the am and refund us for the additional money that we paid and we were told we had to pay AGAIN separately since it was getting so late and their system was not seeing any reservations. The next morning we were told that the employee could not refund us a refund as it was up to the owners after we had paid for the room twice. Booking has been trying to get in touch with this hotel to confirm that they did not honor my reservation and cannot. Unfortunately this hotel did not honor my booking reservation and then would not refund my additional payment for the room. And For CLARIFICATION my reservation was for the day that I checked in. This place is a scam and it’s clear by the reviews.

Honestly, the room was a little dirty but not the end of the world. Two things ruined my stay for me. 1. Asked for a late check out, and they said it's 20 dollar for every 30 minutes past 11am, which is outrageous 2. Breakfast is served from am 8am-10am. The free breakfast was very minimal, but you can buy other foods, so it showed up at 9:40 sat down and waiting to be served at 10 am. I decided I should get up and go to the front desk and ask for a server. She rudely told me it's 10 am. and they no longer serve breakfast, I said, but I have been waiting for a server for 20 minutes, and she said we'll maybe you should have got here sooner. Unfortunately, it's 10 am, so she couldn't/wouldn't help me.
