My family absolutely loves this area and it should be treated as the gem that it is. Shallow swim holes for the little ones and challenging fishing can make the entire family smile after a long day or weekend up here. I arrived there was a big family with ATVs and side by sides camping in the overflow when we arrived packing up. Sadly leaving behind loads of trash near the creek and overflow campground.... Don't do that and please pick up after yourselves so we can continue to use these lands. Keeping these lands accessible for future generations to come.

Great clean campground. Restrooms were available. Dumpster on site. Host mike was awesome. Could tell he was a little nervous about us city folk but as he surprised me being straight forward and very helpful only popping up to drop off some fire wood in the am. I hope we surprised him as well with how well we left the site. We were lucky to be able to enjoy one of the best spots in the park. Water was yards away and our 2 to 17 years had a blast being able to hit the water at in moment. A little pricey but it is definitely worth the coin with the hospitality of mike and the amiditets he dose offer. Looking forward to Definitely going back.

Amazing place to stay outside Yosemite National park. Mike is a fantastic and accommodating host who immediately makes you feel good about being there. It is a somewhat tough dirt road to the sites and there’s no cell signal at all but I consider that a good thing in this case.

Perfect place for those who like the sound of a river while sleeping. Mike (camp host) did a great job keeping the place clean and checking in on new arrivals. All the campers were very considerate and we got 3 awesome restful nights. It’s about 30-40 minutes outside Yosemite’s south entrance. Only neg is that it doesn’t have running water.

Great place to visit. No showers only restrooms. The river is nice, allot of uneven sections on the dirt road on the way to the campground. Drive slow and steady. Absolutely no fresh water so bring your own. Also.. our neighbors spotted a bear 1/2 a mile away, so remember to put you food away every night.

Just got back from my first visit here and wow. Such an amazing camp ground. We were amazed by the beauty of the mountains and the sound of the creek running through the camp. It’s easy to access and the camp manager James Ramirez was so welcoming and accommodating. Stopping by daily to make sure we had everything we needed. He felt like an old friend and truly made our trip special. Great trout fishing right from camp. I literally caught a fish hanging in my hammock outside my tent. James had some great fishing and off-roading tips for me and my group. Can’t wait to be back in august.
