Welcome to South Arm Campground, also known as campsite 7M6, a secluded backcountry camping destination within the vast expanse of Yellowstone National Park. As part of the Campgrounds & RV Parks category, South Arm provides a unique and tranquil camping experience accessible only by boat.

Located within Yellowstone National Park, WY 82190, South Arm Campground offers a truly remote and peaceful setting. Accessible by a 15.5-mile boat journey from the marina, this site is ideal for those seeking solitude and a connection with nature. The area is characterized by quiet surroundings, punctuated only by the sounds of loons and the wind through the pines. A unique feature of this campsite is the presence of a luxurious composting toilet located approximately 75 yards from the beach on the south side of the clearing. The actual campsite, fire pit, and food hanging trees are situated to the left of the clearing, close to the beach within the trees. Campers have the option to set up tents on the soft ground of the clearing.
