Great camp spot on bluffs overlooking the ocean. Only a dozen or so hookup sites and they are hard to get. Reserve 6 months ahead if you can. There’s a camp store and cafe with live music open 5 days a week. A few blocks from grocery store and restaurants. Reasonably clean showers and restrooms.
I love this place so much… I even found the whale vertebrae! The waves are beautiful. There’s a ton of surfers lots of shelling and so many rocks.

Im from ocean beach/Point Loma but THIS is my favorite ultimate beach.. favorite rock hunting location, stress relieving, never big crowds on rocks by waves so PERFECT for some alone time energy balancing, priority thinking, self love.
This is a clean, manicured Camping area and it was a pleasure to visit. Great assortment of sites to choose from. It was quiet and there were multiple bathrooms that had showers and were cleaned each day. It was a pleasant experience and I will be back for more.
