Great clean campground. No established firepit so during the fireban we couldn't have a fire. But there might be other spots with established fire pits. Not too crowded even though we were by several roads.

A good taste of colorado nature. You will see elk on the drive in. The hike is relatively easy for the first 4 miles, with a few turns down to the river for some fishing. You can also fish right there at the trailhead. There are also vault bathrooms. Very Much worth the drive.
