One of the better camp grounds in the area. 6 total (3 buildings) bathrooms on the grounds. Small creeks running through. Plenty for the kids to do as far as staying occupied. Beautiful scenery. Most parking spots are smaller, only a couple can fit trailers. Fire rings, tent pads, lots of shade & picnic tables.

It was clean, the campsites were pretty spacious, very little amount of bugs. It was a bit weird the only animals I saw were bugs and birds, not even squirrels. A good amount of plant life around but not that diverse. There are firepits which is a nice thing to have and there are currently no restrictions on using it you just need a fire permit.

Really good campground.i stay Monday to Thursday,25$night,no shower, restroom acceptable.first com first serve.there just several camper there when I stay.maybe weekend will busy.(nearby campground with shower and flush toilets $31,must reserve first). A lot of tree for shade, beautiful Creek pass by kids will love it.santa Ana river trail cross the campground,I hike both side and it good for long or short hiking.another trailhead just by the entrance of campground,it is up to the mountains,I hike for half hour due dark,it is good too.there are some road nearby good for mountain bike. you can drive to jenk lake for several mile, need 5$ parking, can fishing in lake but I cannot catch any fish for four hours.i m not good at fishing.the only thing I don't like is I can't get a trail map for the area, the visitor center near by just open at Thursday to Sunday, maybe they have map.there are no cellphone signal on campground (I use TMobile),your can find some signal on jenk lake road. just drive one or two hour you can escape from crowed city and get this beautiful campground to have some rest and good hiking are awesome.

It was devastated in 2023. The floods destroyed this area. It's still very beautiful, but the fishing won't return for several years.
