This place is called Sand Camping Access, but I have never seen anyone camping here. I just come here to let my dogs run freely. As you walk and leave footprints on the sand dunes, you can see the Siuslaw River Bridge and the park scenery across the river. The sand dunes are not too difficult to walk on, and it's about a 1.6-mile round trip. Note that there's only a pay booth and no place to dispose of trash.

It was our first experience on sand campground . Cheap and simple. We had site with nothing on it. Real price was not $10, but $18. Good place to stop for those who has equipment for sand riding. Very private , calm, quiet place during the evening and night. Not far from the ocean.
