We absolutely love staying here. I’m a current resident and have been here a little over a month. It’s been great. Although there were a few break-ins when we first arrived, it’s been quiet since then, with no more thefts. I have looked around Miami, and almost all the parks have reported break-ins. So, if you’re going to Miami, it’s best to protect yourself and lock everything before going to bed. I like the staff, security, and maintenance team. They are very friendly. It’s a great location, and for $1,250 a month in Homestead, it’s a pretty good deal. Plus, it’s very close to the Florida Keys, Everglades National Park, and, of course, Miami.

I enjoyed my time spent at Southern Comfort. The camp grounds were clean and so lush with beautiful plants and trees everywhere. I met so many awesome people here. The Tiki bar was alot of fun! Kristina the bartender takes care of you with great drinks, I spent my 33rd birthday here and I had a blast :] I hope to return in the future!

Quiet park and the staff was nice. Our lot was great. We were just overnighting, but the people around us must be here longer term and seemed to be enjoying it. People were walking to the pool, and we saw Peacocks yesterday. $93 for a Monday night in February. I didn't go in the bathhouse. Felt safe to me, but we did make sure things were locked down overnight based on some other reviews. I would stay here again.

This park was fine. I was scared after reading the other reviews but there's nothing to worry about. We felt safe, it was clean and quiet. The pool says it's for residents only, though. A decent stop on the way to the keys.

UPDATE: Our $2000 e-bikes were stolen from our rig last night in this dive. Manager said it’s been happening A LOT, and that’s why he told us to bring everything in at night. No one told us that! Our neighbors here says it’s a HUGE problem and management does nothing about it. Avoid this place like the plague. Original review: Well, take my review with a grain of salt, but when we arrived it had just rained, and we had to walk through ankle deep water to set up. Sadly, it ruined a pair of expensive shoes because I couldn’t get into our rig before wading through the water to change. We have a dog, so she had to walk through knee deep water (she”s small) to do her business. This meant we had to thoroughly dry her feet on re-entry. And while we jokingly said to a neighbor, “Get a bit of rain recently?” her response was, “It’s like this a lot.” Since no one gave us a heads up upon booking an hour earlier, you can’t look for honesty from the office. And it cost $96.00 a night. At least the WiFi didn’t work for crap😂.
