The most magical little lavender farm! If you're in Southport, you have to check out this hidden gem known as Southern Grace Lavender Farm. I loved learning about the different types of lavender Farmer Jason and his sweet wife grow and all of the work and care it takes to make their amazing products. I have to brag about the wonderful products that I've purchased so far. Omg!!! The culinary lavender makes the most amazing simple syrup (I made lavender lemonade using their recipe and it was soooo good!). The blueberry, lemon and strawberry lip balms are so good! The macarons....I'll be dreaming about them, I'm sure. The smudge stick!!! Wow! It burns so nicely! And I can't forget the magnesium cream ..it's literally a dream. So...thank you SGLF for really loving and caring about your products. I can't wait to watch my little lavender starts grow. Ps my little girl loves the farm and products just as much as I do!
This is a MUST VISIT!!! I'm thankful Harvest Host brought us here. It has been amazing from the very beginning! The owner met us immediately and told us where to park. After setting up, we went on a tour of the grounds. We learned so much about lavender. We were able to walk the lavender fields, learn about types of lavender, and smell the differences. The gift shop is AMAZING! Huge selection!! You have to try the lavender brittle. We bought a few shower bombs, a candle, lavender water body mist, and bug bite relief. Our girls are actively talking dad into another trip to the gift shop. All of this is great, right? The very best part was sitting and talking with Jason. He shared life lessons that will stick with me, my husband, and children for a long time. I appreciate his candor and the time he took to fellowship with us. Attached are pictures from our day. Lavender fields. Our campsite (nice parking pad, concrete pad with fire ring, picnic table, firewood, charcoal for the grill, marshmallow sticks, and electric!). Our goodies from the gift shop. A picture of the gift shop. And a fenced-in dog park!! (Pictured are our kids and dogs) Stop by Southern Grace Lavender Farm. You'll be glad you did!
This is a precious little place down a dirt road right outside of Panama City FL. When you initially pull up you will see the sign “Southern Grace Lavender Farm,” the farm itself is very small but it is really a fairly new endeavor. Jason will meet and greet you when you pull in and whatever you want to know about lavender, he can tell you. He is expanding and has some great goals and is truly an incredibly friendly host. He gave us a tour of the entire place, telling us about the different varieties he grows and what they are used for. He has a great worm farm, and he farms fish to use the water to fertilize the lavender. Make sure you say hello to the sweet dog, Cotton who guards the 2 VERY large and lazy pigs. There are a lot of chickens and roosters, which greet you in the morning. There is a beautiful little gift shop, where we intended to do some Christmas shopping but the products were so beautiful that I ended up keeping them for myself. He offers everything from wonderful wax melts, to bath bombs, to culinary spices which include lavender, to teas and lip balm. All in this little precious purple tiny house. It was just a fantastic little shop. I would heartily encourage everyone to stop by, and then to revisit to watch this gorgeous little farm grow from season to season. Thank you Jason for such a wonderful time!
It's one of the best Harvest Hosts we've been to. This little farm has wonderful owners who love to share their hard work, knowledge, and dedication with visitors. A great variety of lavender products along with amazing camping spots. There is on-site potable water along with a few 50Amp hookup sites with great fire pits, BBQ pits, charcoal, and firewood included!
