the campground was very enjoyable but our tent poles ended up snapping during the night which did affect the experience. the lake was very pretty though but we didnt go in because it probably was cold. the temperature outside the water was good though. the night sky was also pretty
Had zero expectations. $10/nt. Dry camping next to a lake. Was way better than any motel. YMMV. Easy check in kiosk next to the ranger station that takes cards. The high desert air was fresh. Nice level site. Saw deer at sunrise. TIP: Use red lights for the light attracted nocturnal insects. They aren’t mosquitoes. We really enjoyed our night here.
We had a perfect night sleep in our RV with temperature 60s on our trip to escape the heat in Dallas . It’s FCFS camping site $5/night
The officer in the info station was really nice and helped with information. It was our first time there.
Not a bad campsite for $5 a night. Covered picnic area, fire pit and water. I'm on a senior pass.
