This place is AMAZING! We stayed here for a weekend in our 40’ fifth wheel. The sites are level, water pressure is great, sewer is in a fantastic spot, the pickleball court looks fantastic, and it was super quiet! Very friendly people around and management is very responsive and helpful and kind. Would’ve loved to have stayed longer but we will be back!
SoWal Palms is in a perfect location to stay when visiting the Florida panhandle if you want to visit Destin, and Panama City Beach. There are several state parks nearby to visit and hike and of course beautiful beaches. The campground is small but very nice and well-kept with a pool coming spring of 2025. The only thing missing is a laundry but there is a laundry mat only a few minutes down the road. The folks running the campground are the nicest people you've ever met. Highly recommended!
For health reasons we moved to Santa Rosa Beach and I found this park where I lived in my RV for around 3 months. The camp hosts, Daisy and Mike, were friendly and very helpful. After buying a home here I kept the RV staged while I attempted to find a buyer. That happened last week. Daisy and Mike watched over the coach and kept me posted on any issues. The park itself is very well kept up and is very conveniently located but lacked some amenities. They are currently adding a clubhouse, pool and dog park to go along with a pickleball court. You can’t go wrong with a short or long stay at Sowal RV Park.
This is a very nice RV park and only 2 miles to beautiful white sand beaches. The staff is awesome and very friendly. I would definitely recommend this park if your in the area.
Once again, I land in a park that is family-owned and once again enjoyed a lovely stay. I find family owned and managed properties take real care of their infrastructure and their guests. Well kept and special touches abound. They are still growing and will be adding more sites and a pool. Sowal Palms is right off Route 98 yet road noise is barely detectable. Location is fantastic, less than 2 miles from the beaches and amazing restaurants, some very high end. A number of beach accesses are available with free parking. This is just an easy place to settle and I'm sure to return.
