Customer Feedback: "Our cabin was Taurus and was super moldy. It barely has any kitchenware. It is very skim on amenities. The TV did not work. It however is a great spot and the campground feels safe and welcoming. It is also located so well for hiking and exploring The Adirondacks. The price is reasonable."
Customer Feedback: "When we arrived our site was not big enough for our camper. the staff quickly changed our site. It was a beautiful site and the staff was pleasant and helpful. Quiet campground. Seems to be monitored 24/7. Great location close to hiking. Nice brewery less than a mile away. Would stay again."

We were in a cabin and we were scheduled to stay at the campground for a week but ended up leaving after 3 nights. Our deluxe 1 bedroom with loft and kitchen cabin was very small, there was no place to sit unless you were sitting in your bed. Only one pool was open, apparently all the golf carts were broken so we could not rent a golf cart. We ordered pizza twice at the general store, the first time we tried ordering the oven was broken and the second time we received a pizza it was an hour later and it was burnt. The WiFi was not working so we couldn’t watch TV at night. The arcade games were old but we enjoyed it, however the pool table was broke and the air hockey table took our money and never worked. We had a mini storm one night and the front of our cabin site flooded so we couldn’t have a fire. My son did enjoy the bouncing pillow. This place is beautiful and has a lot of potential but more than half of the amenities don’t work. If you’re just looking to camp and not use the amenities then this is the place for you.
We stayed here for 2 nights as our base for Fort Ticonderoga and Au Sable Chasm. The cabin was clean but the air freshener was overpowering for a small space. There was a twin over full bunk and a futon that folded out to a full bed. It slept 5 comfortably (said it would sleep 6). The mattresses were not super comfortable, but I wouldn’t expect hotel mattresses at a campground cabin. Better than state park cabin mattresses, however. The bathroom had a small shower and toilet. The shower head was very low and we had about 3 minutes of hot water, so keep the showers short or use the bigger ones at the campground bathrooms. The kitchenette had a sink, decent sized mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and Keurig. The TV and Wi-fi were good for our purposes. The spots were pretty small and close together, but each had a charcoal grill, picnic table, and fire pit. Our cabin had a small porch. The bigger pool was closed, smaller pool with the slide was open, so my kids were happy. Small arcade area and mini-golf were options. The campground is fairly flat so kids could easily ride bikes around. The camp store closes at 5 on weekdays, so be sure to get your firewood and other supplies before the store closes. The public showers on the back of the bathroom building toward the back of the camp were shabby. Two of the four could not even close never mind lock the door. The shower head was broken in another one, use the showers at the bathroom by the camp office/store. After running out of hot water in my cabin on my first shower, I tried the public ones. Paradox Brewing and Frontier Town are both within walking distance.
Just returned from an incredible stay at Adirondack Peaks Specious Skies. We travelled with my elderly parents and my brother's family - 7 children total! age 15, 8,6, 6, 5, 4 and 2! Everyone had an amazing time - there was something for everyone to do - quiet, relaxing - tons of things for the kids to do. They loved the train, the playgrounds (especially the jumping pillow), mining for gems, mini golf and swimming! We will definitely stay again!
