Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Belle Ridge Introduce

Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Belle Ridge, located at 15341 Crossville Hwy, Monterey, TN 38574, USA, provides a varied camping experience within the Campgrounds & RV Parks category. This campground is known for its friendly hosts and a range of activities, but the experience differs significantly between tent camping and RV/cabin stays.

Based on customer reviews, Spacious Skies Campgrounds - Belle Ridge is highly praised for its camp hosts, Nikki and Mike, who are described as courteous, helpful, and knowledgeable. They go above and beyond to assist guests, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere, especially for long-term campers. The campground itself is described as beautiful, with activities such as hiking trails and a rock pond for swimming. However, the experience varies significantly depending on the type of camping. Tent camping is located in the back of the campground, closer to the interstate, resulting in significant noise from traffic, which detracts from the experience of being in nature. The RV and cabin areas, located in the front of the campground, are reported to be much quieter. Guests have expressed a desire to return, but specifically for RV or cabin stays, rather than tent camping. The campground is particularly suitable for long-term stays and those planning to travel the region.

It is also recommended for those who want RV or cabin camping. It is not recommended for those who want quiet tent camping. Visitors should expect interstate noise in the tent camping area. It is recommended to contact the campground directly to confirm site availability and specific amenities. Contacting the campground is recommended to get the most up to date information about the campground and local conditions, particularly regarding site locations and noise levels.

We are year round campers here. We've been here about a year and a half and plan on being here at least another year and a half as we wait for our granddaughter to graduate and be able to travel with us. I have to say we are very comfortable here, but by and large, Nikki and Mike, our current camp hosts, have made us feel more at home than any of the others. We are hoping they will be here a long time. They are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable. They go over and above when we've needed help. I was recently diagnosed with cancer. Without their assistance, we would have had to give up this way of life instead of making it through to take our granddaughter around this region and wider country. We plan on basing out of here as we begin to travel, and hope Nikki and Mike will be the faces that welcome us home when we return!

This is a beautiful campground with activities on the grounds to do such as hiking trails and a rock pond to swim. The reason I did not give a 5 star because I chose to go tent camping. The tent camping area is in the back closer to the interstate. If you are looking to be in the woods with quiet and just listen to nature this is not for you. All you can here is the interstate traffic while trying to relax. Now up front from what I can gather it is much quieter where the campers park. I will more than likely come back but will not be doing a tent. I might try one of the cabins.

I have traveled all over the place in my Skoolie (converted school bus) with my family. Everywhere from Key West to the mountains of Tennessee! When I say this place is something special...I truly mean it! Not only is the property kept in immaculate condition by the staff but it's also GORGEOUS!! This place is over 500 acres of Mother Nature's beauty! 3 waterfalls, several caves to explore, a fishing hole and a natural spring swimming hole! You can hike for hours! You can tell that the staff who work and live on property, really care about the place. They're all so kind and really helpful! The bathrooms are modern and kept clean. You can even do some gem mining here. I bought 3 bags and ended up with a bunch of huge, authentic Amethyst pieces that I'm in love with!! You can't go wrong! This is your sign to call and book your stay now! Tell them Nikki sent you!

Had a medical emergency and needed a place for the night close to the hospital. Found this campground and booked in a hurry online. Soon after I reserved it a very nice lady called me to let me know that if we were going to arrive late she will leave the keys and all the instructions in an envelope at the guard shack. Everything was there. For some reason they gave us a cabin instead of an Rv site, or maybe I clicked on something else! The cabin had its own bathroom with shower. Super clean, very warm and hot shower! We wish I was not sick to stay and enjoy all the amenities, seems unreal! We stayed just the night and the price was $74 with all taxes. Very highly recommend this place.

Stayed here in a cabin for our first time 1/3-1/6 and it was really nice! Cozy rooms, nice accommodations!! Better than some motel rooms I’ve been in!! Love the landscape- ease of checking in and out. We will definitely return!!
