We loved this campground! Super clean & quiet when we were there in Nov 2024. Only possible “con” is that the bathrooms for the campsites only have one (1 toilet, 1 shower) for women and one for men. It wasn’t an issue when we visited but I could see it having long lines other times of the year. Overall, 5 stars from our family of 4 (11 & 14 yr old boys)! It was also fun to sleep next to the animals.
Nice campground overall with a nice fast check in process! Nice views, easy to get into spaces, and a pretty decent bath house. A very quite campground with kids around and campers who had dogs. The bath house showers were nice and had plenty of hot water. The laundry facility was nice and clean but it is credit card only to use them. There are two pools but they were closed during our stay mid-November which was expected so no complaint there. Firewood and ice were available even after hours which we liked. The online booking was a bit challenging but it worked out fine. Our receipt didn't note the spot we reserved which was concerning but ended up being in the spot we asked for. I'd definitely stay again and recommend!
Picturesque views surround this campground. The way the blue ridge mountains look from your campsite will make you want to sit for hours. Bathhouses were very clean, which is always a plus… sites were all very spacious. We were in the area on a busy weekend, but the campground itself never felt that way. We will definitely be back. Staff was very attentive and friendly.
This was my first time camping here and I was pleasantly surprised. The campground is clean,well run and nicely equipped. The pools are clean and we'll maintained. The laundry facility was clean and easy. We were in site 70 and it was above and beyond our expectations. It was large, clean and easy to get into. We have a 44 foot Class A. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this campground. We will absolutely be back!
Absolutely lovely campground. Stayed in spot 20 fhu pergola, right across from the bath house but didn't block the view from our front window. Very clean bath house, laundry facility is very nice, clean, and worked well and quickly! Kids (toddlers+8yr) loved the playground and the jumping pillow even more. We also bought cow food pellets at the camp store and fed the cows (you may smell the farm when it's windy)! Views are great, though in the summer I'm sure the trees block some of it. Was so good to see all the stars and luray caverns is 10 min away. Plan to come back in the summer to check out the pool, local shops, and skyline caverns.
