Short little lake loop only minutes from the highway. Easy loop about 2 kms in length. Passes across several wooden bridges. Mostly shaded. Benches nestled along the lake with a number of viewpoints.

A lake where you can feel quiet. There are three picnic tables that look like they were recently built. There is also a restroom, which is convenient.

One of my favorite little parks in the Region. A bit off the beaten path, so isn't overcrowded. There's a little beach and canoe launch 100m from the parking lot. A couple of great little picnic spots overlooking the lake and numerous viewpoints along the trail. The trail here is a pretty short and easy loop (around 2.5km). It's well maintained and easy, but not recommended for anyone with mobility issues. The east side of the lake is fine for little ones or those with issues, but the west side is cut into a hill with numerous roots and rocks. Not a goat trail, but might be challenging for some. There's often some canoes and kayaks out. I see folks fishing, but have never seen anyone reel anything in, so can't say whether that's a fruitful endeavour.

Felt like we had the place to ourselves. What an amazing day topped with amazing views. Thoroughly enjoyed the car ride over here from Victoria. Beautiful scenery the whole way and hardly a cloud in the sky. The walk to the beach was nice through the forested area then opening up to the wildest views. Well worth the trip and definitely recommend a second trip too
